Operatives of the Amotekun corps in Ondo state have botched a kidnap attempt on some farmers in a rural community in Akure North Local Government Area of the State.
The corps also rescued sixteen travelling passengers kidnapped in lsua Akoko and have been reunited with their respective families.
These seventeen suspected criminals were arrested in various locations in Ondo state for various offences ranging from kidnapping, Robbery, Rape and Cultism.
Commander of the Amotekun corps, Adetunji Adeleye while parading the suspects raised alarm over the unusual influx of herdsmen into some Communities in the state.

He said the command succeeded to botch a kidnap attempt on some farmers and also rescued 16 travelling passengers earlier kidnapped in Isua Akoko.
The corps also paraded a 42-year-old man for allegedly defiling a 9-year-old girl in his room.
According to the Corps, The suspects will soon be arraigned in court after the conclusion of investigations.
