Ondo Amotekun Rescues 5 kidnapped Victims,Parades 20 Suspects

Operatives of Amotekun Corps in Ondo state have rescued the Five remaining travelling passengers kidnapped last week along the Benin-Owo highway,in ondo State.

The commander of the corps,Adetunji Adeleye while parading twenty suspected criminals at the command’s headquarters in Akure says the corps is working tirelessly to reduce the recent upsurge in the cases of Kidnapping in the state.

The day’s assignment began with inspection of guard of honour by the Ondo state commander of Amotekun, Adetunji Adeleye at the command’s headquarters of the corps.

Worried by the recent upsurge in reported cases of kidnapping in ondo state,The recent being the kidnap of Five farmers returning from their farm-land in Akure North Local Government over the weekend,The Amotekun Commander blamed the incidents on Influx of strange faces within border communities.

The Amotekun Commander thereafter said the corps succeeded in rescuing the Five remaining travelling passengers earlier kidnapped on the Owo/Benin highway last week.

Some of the rescued victims who spent Five days with their Abductors narrate their ordeal.

According to the Amotekun Commander,The Twenty suspects paraded will soon be arraigned in court for prosecution.
