The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in the November 16 Governorship election in Ondo state, Agboola Ajayi has challenged the outcome of the poll before the tribunal.
This is coming three weeks after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC declared incumbent Governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Lucky Aiyedatiwa winner of the election.
After a meeting of PDP Elders council held at the party’s Secretariat in Akure,the state Capital,Ajayi said the results of the November 16 Governorship election does not reflect the desire and aspirations of people of the state.
The PDP Candidate alleged that the election was marred with massive irregularities which affected the outcome.

Ajayi called on the National Assembly
to amend the electoral acts that would encourage electronic voting to check Electoral malpractices.
So far, PDP’s Agboola Ajayi is the only political Party that has challenged the outcome of the November 16 Governorship election in Ondo state.
