Residents of Ijagba community in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State, have protested incessant attacks , kidnappings and killings of residents by suspected herdsmen, saying communities in the area are now under siege of terrorists.
The community raised the alarm over the unending criminal activities of suspected herdsmen in their community on Thursday in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
Members of the community noted that for over two years, residents have not enjoyed peace of mind due to increased number of kidnappings, killings, burning of houses, and farmlands by suspected herdsmen that have been terrorising the community.

They appealed to the state government to establish a strong military base,in order to reduce the attacks.
Reacting to the development, the Police Spokesperson in the state, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya confirmed the development, noting that the command is on top of the situation, promising to arrest those behind the attacks.
