An Akure High Court has remanded the Founder of Sotitobire Miracle Church, Prophet Alfa Babatunde and 6 others in the Olokuta facility of the Nigerian Correctional Services.
The suspects are facing a 3-count charge over the disappearance of one year old, Gold Kolawole who was declared missing during a church service in November 2019.
This is the first time the case will be coming up at the State High Court after the case was moved from the Magistrate Court where it began.

The suspects pleaded not guilty after the 3-count charge was read to them while the Director of Public Prosecution asked for a short adjournment to enable her prepare the 7 witnesses listed for the case.
Efforts by counsel to the defendants, Olusola Oke to speak on the bail applications earlier filed in respect of the suspects met stiff opposition from the Prosecution who complained of the multiplicity in the process.
After both parties resolved the differences in their arguments, the presiding judge, Justice Olusegun Odusola adjourned the case till 16, 17, and 19 of March 2020 for hearing of bail application.
