Ondo NSCDC parades 5 suspects for illegal dealings with Petroleum Products

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ondo State Command has warned residents against patronising marketers who specialize in selling adulterated Automotive Gas to prevent cases of explosions which has been on the increase in recent times.

The NSCDC gave the advice while parading five suspects who specialize in unlawful dealings on Petroleum products at it’s headquarters in Akure,the state capital.

This is the second Official assignment of the new commandant of NSCDC,Hammed Abodunrin in Ondo state.

While addressing Newsmen during the parade of five suspects who were transporting forty three thousand litres of adulterated Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) Abodunrin warned residents of the state against the purchase of such product.

The NSCDC Boss said the suspects could not produce any document authorizing their dealings on the products as the samples sighted at the point of arrest was different from the contents inside the truck.

He said the synergy with other sister Agencies has been helpful in curbing activities of vandals in the state.

The command said the suspects will soon be arraigned in court after conclusion of investigation.
