The Ondo State police command has paraded 31 suspects including the purported kidnappers of a traditional ruler along the Owo/Ikare highway early this month.
Parading the Suspects at the commands headquarters in Akure, Ondo State capital, on Thursday, the Police Commissioner, Oyeyemi Oyediran said the arrest of the kidnap suspects of the traditional head of lku quarters in lkare Akoko area of the state yielded results based on collaborative efforts between the Ondo and Oyo State Commands of the force.

Oyediran said 5 suspects were arrested in connection to the kidnap of the monarch.
Others paraded by the command included, suspected armed robbers, serial fraudster, land grabbers and impersonators.
The commissioner used the occasion to assure residents of the command commitment to bring crime to a zero level in the state.
The command also decorated 34 officers who were recently promoted by the Inspector General of Police to various ranks.
