One Dead, one was injured, and four were abducted in an FCT gun attack

Federal Capital Territory

Police in the Federal Capital Territory have confirmed one person dead and another in critical condition following a gun attack at Relocation Estate in the Kubwa Area of the Nigerian capital.

Four other persons were reported abducted.

In a statement signed by the FCT Police Command Public Relations officer, Josephine Adah one of the victims of the gunshots was confirmed dead while the second victim is still in critical condition in hospital.

The FCT Commissioner of Police has since deployed intelligence and other operational personnel to fortify security in the entire Kubwa area and its environs and said investigations are underway to identify the suspects and bring them to book.
