One person is feared dead while several others sustained various injuries when a storey building collapsed at Yusuf street, Papa Ajao, Mushin area of Lagos state on Sunday.
A statement from the Lagos state emergency Management Agency, LASEMA explained that preliminary investigation carried out by its officials on arrival at the scene of the incident revealed that an excavator clearing the road recklessly hit a mosque by the road side which resulted in the mosque collapsing as prayers were about to commence.
Ten persons were said to have been trapped under the rubble as four victims were rushed to the nearby hospital for medical attention.
