At least one thousand rural communities in Taraba State are to benefit from over one billion Naira injected by the state government into its partnership with the World Bank on Community Service Development Projects.
The project which targets poor communities in hard-to-reach areas of the state has provided, majorly, potable water and health facilities to the vulnerable and the poor.
Taraba State isolated community of Ngada, which was brought to the limelight in 2016 by the administration of Governor Darius Ishaku, is one of the hard-to-reach communities impacted by the CSDP projects.

The State Government’s commitment to the Community Service Development partnership has earned the state’s office an award from the World Bank as one of the best performing states in the country.
The partnership has executed 491 micro-projects in remote communities, with a financial commitment of over one billion Naira to the cause from the Taraba State Government.
