A 200 level computer science student in the Plateau State University Bokkos has been killed following a fresh attack by Gunmen in Chikan Community, neighboring the Plateau State University Bokkos.
The student, Dading James Jordan, Was reportedly killed on Thursday night alongside three other victims, a woman and her daughter allegedly by Fulani Militia who invaded the Chikan community on at about 9pm.
According to an Eye witness, Rafan Ulan, the attackers came during the night in their numbers on motorcycles, wearing black clothes with sophisticated weapons and began shooting sporadically.
The Plateau state Police command could not confirm the development as at the time of filing this report, however, the students at the Plateau State University Bokkos were seen protesting the killing of their colleague on Friday, holding placards and singing sorrowful songs, demanding better security.
The Friday Peaceful Protest, later took another dimension when security operatives allegedly began shooting to scare the angry students away as they scrambled for safety.
