The Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has signed into law the proposed expenditure of 155.6 billion naira for the 2022 fiscal year.
Equally assented was the amended revenue law which was recently presented to the State House of Assembly.

A hundred and fifty-five point six billion naira was approved for total expenditure for its 2022 fiscal year following Wednesday’s passage by the State house of assembly.
The chief executive also reflected on the growing insecurity concerns in the country and the debate over President Buhari’s rejection of the 2021 electoral act ammendment bill.
He spoke on how he intends to ensure the judicious expenditure of the recent bail out approved for State’s by the Federal Government.
Ortom urged residents to take precautionary measures during the festive period to avoid contracting the highly contagious coronavirus.
A minute silence was observed in honour of the departed as a result of the insecurity bedeviling the country.
