The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole, has assured the injured police officer of adequate medical attention.
Oshiomhole stated this when he visited the officer at the hospital where is receiving treatment following the accident which claimed the lives of two police officers while on the convoy of Oshiohmole.
This was contained in a statement by the media aide of the former Edo State Governor, Victor Oshioke, in his verified Facebook page.
Oshioke said Oshiomhole and other persons in the convoy, aside from the two policemen who lost their lives, did not sustain any injuries.
He further stated that the convoy of Comrade Oshiomhole was maintaining legal speed limits when the accident happened, adding that
without prejudice to police investigations, eyewitnesses account of the incident suggest, that it was an assassination attempt, targeted at Oshiomhole.

Oshioke said the case has been reported at the Ekiadolor Police Station, and investigations are ongoing.
