OSUN state house of Assembly has elected Adewale Egbedun as the new speaker of the house.
The 38 year old Egbedun who is representing Odo- Otin state constituency is a first timer in the state house of assembly.
The inaugural sitting which was presided over by the Clerk of the house was attended by the state governor, Sen Ademola Adeleke.

In his acceptance speech, Egbedun promised to provide transparent leadership and inclusiveness for the house as he appreciated the state governor for the support given him
While congratulating the newly elected speaker and other principal officers in the house, the state governor Ademola Adeleke Challenged members of the house to support his administration in achieving all his electoral promises to the people of the state
The governor, thereafter gave a go ahead for the eighth state assembly to hold its first session in accordance with constitutional powers.
