The Osun State government has commenced the process to allow Persons with Disabilities enjoy free medical care under the Osun Health Insurance Scheme.
The state government said it has commenced registration of Persons With Disabilities simultaneously across the local government areas of the state.
The Executive Secretary of Osun Health Insurance Agency, Dr Razak Akindele monitored the registration process at Olorunda Local government in Osogbo.

He said beyond the free healthcare for the PWDs, the data captured will allow them cater for their needs.
The Osun state chairman of Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities, Stephen Olorunfemi described the process as a great step by the state government that will make life better for PWDs.
The registration will run from 29th July to 8th August 2024.
