The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has rejected the judgement of the Osun State Governorship Election Tribunal which nullified the election of Senator Ademola held on the 16th of july, 2022.
In a statement, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Debo Ologunagba argued that the judgment of the Tribunal was contrary to the will of the people of Osun State which was expressed by the votes cast for the PDP and its Candidate at the election.

Ologunagba argued that the Governorship election in Osun State was adjudged by Local and International Observers to be free, fair and clearly won by the PDP and its Candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of the people.
He emphasized that the will of the people of Osun State as expressed by electing Governor Adeleke must be respected adding that as a law-abiding Party, the PDP would explore all available legal means to restore the victory.
Ologunagba charged the people of Osun State to be calm, alert and continue to support Governor Adeleke to deliver the dividends of democracy.
