AIT observed that voters in majority of the polling units refused to turnout to exercise their franchise for fear of being harassed.

Reacting to the election the caretaker Chairman of the PDP, Akindele Adekunle said the election is a mere waste of public funds.
Meanwhile the PDP in osun state has described the exercise as null and void, noting that the conduct of the local government election is still a subject of litigation.
The PDP insists that the outcome would be discarded as soon as the party takes over the mantle of power in November 27.
