Nigeria Civil Society Situation room in Osun state has called on all stakeholders in Saturday’s governorship election in the state to approach the election with some level of decency and responsibility.
The Situation room made the call at a press briefing in Osogbo Friday , where members reeled out findings of the room’s report on the preparedness of INEC and Security agencies for the election .
The situation room noted that Osun governorship election is the last major election, before the 2023 general elections, therefore, a critical litmus test to gauge the level of INEC’s preparedness ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Members of the osun situation room while decrying some of the ugly development in the last Ekiti election such as vote buying, called on stakeholders in the osun election to be more proactive to address some of the challenges.
The situation room advised voters to come out early to participate in the electoral process to elect their leaders.
