Factional national chairman of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Nafiu Bala has reacted to reports making the rounds that his faction’s national convention scheduled to hold on Tuesday was shunned by delegates, saying it has been postponed till after Wednesday’s judgement between the two factions at the Supreme Court over leadership tussle.
In a telephone interview, his spokesperson, Sani Bala said the chairman in a previous interview with AIT.live in Hausa language had mentioned that the convention can no longer hold as scheduled in order not to disobey court order.
The spokesperson assured party members that a new date will be communicated for early preparation.
