The Commissioner of Police, Ondo State Command, Wilfred Afolabi said on Tuesday morning that 19 suspects have been arrested in connection to Monday’s cult clash in Owo, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Afolabi stated this during an on-the-spot assessment of the crime scene of the violent cult attack that left 4 persons dead.
The newly deployed Commissioner of Police said he was in Owo to monitor the level of compliance with the curfew imposed on the town by the State Government.

Afolabi told Journalists that while peace has been restored to the affected areas, those arrested will be made to face the full weight of the law.
Areas visited by the Ondo Police Command boss included; Eyin Ogbe, Ijebu Owo, Palace area, amongst others.
