The Oyo State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, has expressed readiness to collaborate with other security agencies in the state to tackle the rising spate of violent crime in the state capital, Ibadan.
The State Commandant, Michael Akintayo Adaralewa said this to journalists at the Command headquarters in Bodija where six crime suspects were paraded.
Adaralewa, who was appointed state commandant two weeks ago said the command will not tolerate any form of criminality.
He also urged his personnel to be vigilant, and proactive in fighting crime.

The six suspects who were paraded on grounds of attempted murder and conspiracy, possession of fake currency among other crimes, confessed their guilt.
The command advised members of the public to be security conscious and vigilant.
