The Oyo State Government has completed a 100-bed isolation centre in Olodo Ibadan area of the State.
Acting Chairman of the State Taskforce on Covid-19, Professor Temitope Alonge made this known while briefing other members of the committee.
With activation of the molecular laboratory at the University College Hospital Ibadan, the State also now has the capacity to carry out Coronavirus test on suspected cases and the results will be ready within 24 hours.

Alonge also said the State has received N125 million as financial donations to support the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Taskforce said the State Government through the Ministry of Women Affairs will soon be giving out pallative support to people in the State to cushion the effects of the pandemic and lockdown.
There are plans to also begin the disinfection of all markets in the State as part of measures to curtail the spread of Coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the State Government with the support of a telecommunications company will be giving out free data to Senior Secondary School 3 students to enable them study at home in preparation for their upcoming final year external examinations that were postponed because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
There will also be broadcast of educational programmes through local TV and radio stations in the State to help the students with their studies following the closure of schools.
It will be recalled that Professor Temitope Alonge became the Acting Chairman of the Taskforce after the Chairman and State Governor Seyi Makinde tested positive for Coronavirus and has been in isolation for his treatment.
