The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has affirmed Sandy Onor as its sole Presidential candidate for the 2027 general election following the conclusion of its presidential primaries and collation of results in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Chairman of the Presidential Collation Committee, Samuel Ortom, said the Committee worked round the clock with coordinators across the 36 states and the FCT to ensure a smooth and credible exercise.
Speaking at the event, PDP National Chairman, Abdulrahaman Mohammed, thanked the leadership of INEC for its support during the process, adding that the convention was convened to affirm the party’s sole presidential aspirant.
In his acceptance speech, former senator, Sandy Onor pledged to work hard to secure victory for the party in the 2027 presidential election.
