The opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has alleged that the All Progressives Congress, APC, led government in Osun State, South-West Nigeria has refused to approve the venue for its mega rally ahead of next week’s Governorship election.
Party’s State Caretaker Chairman, Akindele Adekunle who raised the alarm at a media conference in Osogbo described the denial of its right to use the venue as the height of intolerance by the Gboyega Oyetola-led administration.
He said it is absurd that the Governor as the hired custodian of state infrastructure would be so empowered to administer government property as personal estate, stressing that this has put democracy at danger in the state.

Effort were made to get the reaction of the State Government with Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ismail Omipiadan promising to get back to AIT.live but he was yet to do so as at the time of filing this report.
