PDP appoints Appeal Panel for Ondo Governorship screening exercise

The National Working Committee, NWC, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has approved the nomination of a 13-member appeal panel for Ondo governorship election.

In a statement released by the party’s National Organizing Secretary, Colonel Austin Akobundu (retd), the party stated that the panel will consider appeals arising from the screening of aspirants for the upcoming 2020 Governorship Election in Ondo State.

The NWC in the statement, named Senator Gyung Istafanus Dung as Chairman, and Barrister Uzoma Abonta as Secretary.

Other members of the panel are Dayo Ogungbenri, Austine Umahi, Dan Orbih, Barrister G.T Kataps, and Theophilus Daka Shan.

Others are, Senator Ibrahim Kazaure, Senator Kola Balogun, Dr. Bolanle Ogundiran, Rimamde Shawulu, Hassana Dikko, and Barrister Christine Akpan.

The PDP NWC added that the exercise will hold on Monday, July 6, 2020, at the NWC Hall, Wadata Plaza, at 10:00AM prompt.
