The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has denied adopting any position for the 2023 presidential election.
A statement by the spokesman of the PDP, Kola Ologbodiyan, said the interest of the majority of Nigerians shall be the PDP national rallying point to elect a pan-Nigerian and people-oriented leadership, that would rescue the nation from misrule in 2023.

The PDP also noted that the unprecedented public interest in the party is responsible for the widespread discussions on the recommendations of the committee on the review of the 2019 elections.
The party further clarified that the recommendations from its recent review will be subjected to the democratic process by relevant organs of the party, and consultations across all national interests.
