The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has condemned the alleged attack on its members and journalists in Ebonyi State.
Chairman of Ebonyi State Chapter of the PDP had alleged that thugs led by members of the ruling party in the state attacked PDP supporters, journalists and innocent villagers in Idemba , Ezza South Local Government Area where they were mercilessly beaten and injured during the attack.
The PDP called on security agencies to ensure a level playing field for all political parties adding that every eligible citizen has the constitutional right to freely express his or her political preference without fear of intimidation, harassment or molestation.
The party called on its supporters to be vigilant and assured them that the party remains committed to ensuring that every member of PDP in Ebonyi State enjoys the full protection of the law.
