A group called the Peoples Democractic Party National Back-up has called for the immediate resignation of the Acting National Chairman Umar Damagum-led National working committee.
The group led by Salau Olusola told reporters at the premises of the PDP National Headquarters in Abuja that their action follows the failure of the party’s NWC to provide leadership
They expressed disappointment over what they described as the resistance of the Party’s National Secretary Samuel Anyawu to step aside after emerging as candidate of the PDP in the recently concluded Imo Governorship Election.
The group has vowed not to relent in calling out the issues in the party until the right things are done
