Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has criticised the Taminu Turaki group of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP over what he described as misleading information regarding a recent Court of Appeal judgement.
The Turaki group had claimed that the ruling invalidated an earlier High Court decision which recognised the party’s caretaker committee that produced Abdulrahman Mohammed as the substantive National Chairman of the PDP.

Speaking during an inspection tour of projects slated for commissioning to mark President Tinubu’s third anniversary in office, the Minister warned that “somebody will be derobed” over the spread of misinformation.
Turaki who was Minister of Special Duties during administration of President Goodluck Jonathan when Wike was Minister of State for Education is a lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN.
