Governors of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), have converged on Abuja to strategise on salvaging the party amidst the leadership crisis ahead of today’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.
The governors are deliberating on a wide range of issues, particularly on zoning of the National Working Committee (NWC) offices across the 6 geo-political zones ahead of an elective national convention.

The national convention is aimed at easing out from office the embattled national chairman of the party Prince Uche Secondus who has been having frictions with some leaders of the party including the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike.
The governors under the auspices of the PDP Governors’ forum want new officials to take over the affairs of the party as quickly as possible to resolve the issue.
