The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has nullified the recently concluded three-man Adhoc ward delegate congress that held in Ekiti state, south-west Nigeria ahead of the indirect primaries to nominate the party’s governorship candidate.
The decision was reached after an emergency national working committee meeting with some stakeholders from the state.

In a statement signed by pdp national secretary, senator samuel anyanwu, the party stated that its primaries shall be conducted using the statutory delegates list while also insisting that all pending court cases must be withdrawn.
The pdp is to hold its governorship primary in ekiti state to determine nominate the party’s candidate in the june 18 election.
