The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP backed by the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike says it has uploaded the Names of its Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates as well as National Assembly Candidates for the upcoming 2027 elections to the Nomination Portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
The PDP, which said this in a statement by its National Chairman, Abdulrahman Mohammed, describes the process as a demonstration of the Party’s resolve to fully participate in the 2027 general election.
Abdulrahaman also discloses that the party is currently uploading the names of the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly Candidates as he pledges to build a stronger and more united party.
The development comes hours after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC announced the extension of the deadline set for Political Parties to submit the names of their presidential and National Assembly candidates through its online nomination portal.
