The chairman of the PDP’s Ward Congress in Osun state, Senator Oker Jev has assured all party members of fairness and transparency.
The senator stated this while addressing journalists ahead of the Ward Congress in Osogbo, Osun state capital on Saturday.
Party members came out in their numbers in all the wards visited in Osogbo and Olorunda local government areas to elect the ward executives.
A faction of the party led by the former Chairman of the party, Olasoji Adagunodo had threatened to conduct a parallel congress after the meeting held earlier with the chairman of ward congress committee could not resolve the differences between the two factions.

Responding, Chairman of the party, Sunday Bisi debunked the existence of factions in the party, stressing that all opinions would be considered for the progress of the party in the state
The congress is ongoing as at the time of filling this report.
