Peter Obi Meets Gov. Bala Mohammed, Calls on Oppositions to Join Forces in Rebuilding Nigeria

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has played host to the 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi stating that he is ready to work with the former Anambra State Governor to make sure they close ranks and bring good governance to the country, through vibrant opposition, with a vision to rescue and recover Nigeria, from those he described as mediocres, that are parading themselves as leaders.

The Governor said this, while briefing Newsmen, after holding a closed-door meeting, with the 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, in Bauchi State, Northeast Nigeria.

At a joint Media briefing after a meeting that lasted for some hours, the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, who is also the Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, and his guest, said they mainly met to discuss issues affecting the country, and how best to provide an enduring opposition, that would chart a good fortune for Nigeria and Nigerians.

Peter Obi and Governor Bala Mohammed, told Journalists their discussion centred around, how to address some of the national issues, and discussed the future for the country, where a child of nobody would become somebody.

They called on the people not to lose hope for the future.

The two leaders accused the government in power at the Federal level of being undertakers in different parties, and that as opposition, they will use knowledge to tackles the ruling central government.

They duo also talked about emerging strategies to transcend, and go beyond the immediate situations, but for the overall development of the country.

Governor Bala and Peter Obi, assured that their discussions would continue with follow up meetings to ensure a better future for the country.
