The Labour Party Presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi says the political compass in Nigeria is going on the wrong direction and called on the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) to take issues of governance more seriously.
Obi said this when he received a delegation of the IPAC at the Obedient campaign office in Abuja, the Nigerian capital city.
The former Anambra State governor lamented that hunger in the oil-rich West African country is now a critical issue that needs urgent attention.

The 2923 Labour Party presidential candidate explained that Nigerians must be consistent in their demands against bad governance and not wait until the time of elections.
Obi said he is not desperate about becoming the Nigerian president but is pained by the hardships Nigerians are currently going through, coupled with the country’s huge debt as a result of mismanagement of her resources.
