Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, says the PDP G-5 Governors deliberately worked to limit Atiku Abubakar’s votes in the South-South during the 2023 Presidential election, insisting that Peter Obi who was the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP was not the principal threat.
Speaking after inspecting ongoing projects in Abuja, the nation’s capital, Wike also dismissed claims that the Rivers State result was imposed by INEC, challenging those who claimed Obi won the state to produce their evidence.
He maintained that the Rivers State outcome was part of a wider strategy that, in his words, “worked well” for the G5 Governors.
