More trouble seems to be brewing in the plateau state All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2023 general election, just about a week after 18 gubernatorial aspirants threatened to dump the party.
A group of elders of the party have warned the state government not to influence the outcome of the state’s APC gubernatorial primaries.
The elders accused Plateau state Governor Simon Lalong of being ungrateful to the people of the state who supported him when a similar scenerio played out in 2015.

The group said they can not sit back and watch the harmony in the state destroyed by selfish individuals.
They reiterated that any plans to hijack the state delegates will be met by stiff resistance while calling on the APC leadership in the state to ensure a free and credible process.
