The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Plateau State has condemned the recent suspension of elected council Chairmen and Councilors In the 17 Local Government Areas of the state by the PDP Administration.
The Party While Addressing Newsmen in Jos Said the Suspension is illegal, reckless, and legislative impudence.
Political structures across the 17 Council areas of Plateau were suspended on the 1st of June by the State Government with immediate effect following a recommendation by the state house Assembly.

Addressing newsmen in Jos, Spokesman for the APC in the state Sylvanus Namang, said the action of the PDP led Government is against established legal, constitutional, and legislative procedures
According to the APC, due process ought to be followed in tempering with the structures and operations of the local Governments.
The Party calls for the immediate reinstatement of the APC-elected council chairmen in the 17 local government areas of the state, saying, it would hold the PDP administration accountable for it’s actions.
