While Muslims across Nigeria celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, some communities in Wase local Government area of Plateau State, sent “Save Our Soul” messages to the government over the Continuous invasion and killings in their villages after the bandits had issued them a quit notice.

Wase local government area, the home of the deputy speaker house of representatives Idris Wase, has witnessed several attacks by terrorists in the past few months.
In 2021, the Emir of Wase, Alhaji Muhammed Sambo Haruna raised alarm that terrorists had taken over 50 percent of the land mass in Wase with attacks and kidnappings which has affected farming activities.
Despite the alarm, Attacks, killings and kidnappings still Continued unabated with the recent just last week where 12 people were killed in clash between Vigilante and bandits in one of the communities that was given quit notice by the bandits, asking them to leave or risk being wiped out
Many farmers within villages given quit notices by bandits in Wase have fled their communities, a situation which suggest that food crisis is imminent in coming days despite the fact that Wase is a fertile land with vast land mass but cannot be accessed by farmers.
