Plateau Governor presents 2025 budget proposal to State Assembly

Plateau state governor, Caleb Mutfwang has presented a budget proposal of over four hundred and seventy-one billion naira to the state House of Assembly. 

The governor also presented to the house a medium-term expenditure framework/fiscal strategy paper for 2025-2027 and commended the lawmakers for their support.

Presenting the proposal, Governor Mutfwang said despite economic challenges being faced, the administration is determined to ensure that it executes projects that will impact the people of the state. 

The governor appealed to members of the house to give the budget a speedy consideration to enable the government to do its work.

Receiving the budget, the speaker of the state assembly, Gabriel Dewan, assured the state government of their cooperation and added that the house will do a thorough job to ensure that people of the state get the dividends of democracy.

The 2025 estimate tagged budget of consolidation and sustainability, is about 122 billion naira more than the 2024 budget proposal.
