The Plateau State Police Command has confirmed the re-arrest of the suspected organ harvester Noah Kekere, afert a magistrate’s court in Jos revoked the bail granted to him in September, Kekere was accused of harvesting the kidney of his ex-patient Kehinde Kamal.
The organ was said to have been removed while carrying out an operation on the patient at his Murna Clinic and Maternity, located in Yanshanu community of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.

On Tuesday (10 October) a magistrate’s Court in Jos, granted the suspect bail, but family members of the victim, the police command and the state Ministry of Justice kicked against it.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Joel Tahvan, had on Wednesday, accused the magistrate of complicity, explaining that the bail was granted without prosecution.
Subsequently, Chief Magistrate Chollom, on Thursday, revoked the bail after Kekere was re-arrested and brought to the court by the police. The Chief Magistrate ordered that the suspect be remanded.
