Lasting peace can be achieved in the country if it is hinged on justice, equity and fairness. This was said by the president of the Evangelical Church Winning All ECWA when he visited Yelwan Zangam to commiserate with the community over the August 14 attacks.
The ECWA president after offering words of comfort to the people of Zangam, said that there is need for government to do more to ensure lasting peace.

The Ujah of Anaguta thanked the ECWA executives for the visit and also stressed the need for more prayers to avert future misfortunes.
The youth leader of Zangam community made a passionate appeal to the government to improve the security of the community as survivors still live in fear.
The delegation also presented food stuff and building materials to help the survivors rebuild their lives.
