Police on election duty for the Adamawa Governorship Supplementary Poll have apprehended six young men suspected to be hackers of BVAS during the exercise in the Bolki Ward of Numan in Adamawa State.
The Six men were arrested while trying to hack into the BVAs machines, to criminally tamper with election results.
Eyewitnesses said as the hackers went about masterminding their unpatriotic acts, observers sighted them and quickly reported to the police who were keeping vigilance at the election unit.
Efforts to speak with the alleged criminals proved abortive, as the only thing one of them could say was that they do not know why they are being arrested.
