The Police in Niger State have arrested four suspected kidnappers.
The suspects were apprehended after they abducted a nine-year-old schoolboy along the Shiroro Road, in Chanchaga Local Government Area of Niger State.
The suspects, according to a statement by Police Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Wasiu Abiodun, are twenty-year-old Muhammad Yasin, twenty-two year old Danjuma Muhammad and twenty-five-year-old Muhammad Usman, all of Chanchaga Local Government Area of Niger State.
The three were said to have conspired and kidnapped the nine-year-old schoolboy.
A fake account number was said to be owned by an Almajiri named Muhammad Usman who is now at large.
The account number was used for the payment of three hundred thousand Naira, out of forty-five million Naira initially requested.

The sum of two hundred and thirty thousand Naira cash, two Automated Teller Machine cards, and one SIM card, as well as one military camouflage face cap were retrieved.
Other exhibit included a handset, two cutlass covers, an axe, a saw, sword and four knives, as well as an iron rod.
The Police have also arrested a twenty-three-year-old Victor Francis of Dikko Area in Gurara Local Government Area of Niger State, for threat to life and attempted kidnapping.
The suspect was said to have called a female victim anonymously, and threatened to slaughter her, if she failed to raise the sum of fifty thousand Naira, which the suspect had requested to be deposited in an account sent to her.
The suspect, Victor Francis, was arrested by the Police, in the Area Divisional Headquarters.
The suspect was said to have confessed to have committed the crime.
The statement further said, the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.
