The Police have arrested a 70-year old suspected kidnapper and his gang members who conspired to abduct his sister who came on a visit in his residence in Qua’an Pan Local Government Area of Plateau State, North-Central Nigeria and collected N2 million ransom.
State Commissioner of Police, Bartholomew Onyeka while parading the suspect at the Police Headquarters in Jos said among the arrested suspected kidnapers are those who abducted a four-year old boy in Jos North community.

The Police have in recent times carried out some operations in line with the emerging security challenges in the State with abduction toping the list.
The operations have no doubt recorded breakthroughs. Onyeka said upon interrogation, the suspects confessed to have conspired, perpetrated the crime which led to other discoveries and rescue of victims.
The Commissioner while assuring residents that adequate measures have been taken to deal with crime in the state to ensure a hitch-free Christmas and New Year celebrations also said the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
