The Cross River Police Command has arrested a forty-five-year-old Pentecostal Church Pastor, Michael Bassey, for unlawful possession of a human skull allegedly used for ritual purposes for his clients.
Also paraded along with Bassey were 30 others suspected to have committed various criminal offences In Cross River State.

Speaking with newsmen in Calabar, the state Commissioner of Police, Sikiru Akande, said the pastor was arrested after intelligence reports about his activities.
The CP said the suspect was arrested in Calabar South after close monitoring of his activities around the Uwanse Area of the city.
The Commissioner of Police said the Pastor and others will be charged to court after thorough investigations.
The suspected Pastor however denied any knowledge of the human skull, saying he was innocent of the allegations against him.
