The Adamawa State Police Command has enhanced patrols and surveillance across the nooks and crannies of the state, ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit on Friday.
Information gathered revealed that the President will pay a condolence visit to the family of the late former Super Permanent Secretary, Ahmed Joda.

A statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police Sulaiman Nguroje, said the Commissioner of Police, CP Aliyu Adamu Alhaji, has ordered the deployment of patrol teams and surveillance assets to ensure a hitch-free visit of the president.
The CP is assuring the people of Adamawa State, of the synergy among all security agencies and stakeholders, towards ensuring public order in the state before, during, and after the visit of President Buhari.
The statement further urged members of the public to coordinate themselves and cooperate with the security agents in the course of discharging their constitutional duty.
