Police in Bauchi State say they killed five bandits terrorising parts of the state, and rescued victims of kidnapping in the Jaamare Local Government Area.
This was disclosed during a press conference organised by the Bauchi State Police spokesman, Ahmed Wakili.
Wakili said among the eliminated bandits were those that recently invaded the Jaamare market and kidnapped one Samaila, who was only released after the payment of twenty million Naira ransom

He reassured law-abiding and hard-working citizens that the war against crime and criminality will soon be won, calling on members of the public to continue to support the police and other law enforcement agents with timely and adequate security information.
