The Police In Edo state have called on its operatives to be diligent in carrying out their duties during this weekend’s Presidential and National Assembly elections
The Police leadership, during at a security meeting with critical stakeholders, assured residents of the state a violence free election and credible voting exercise.
Ede Ayuba, Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone Five, posted to Edo state for the elections with other security chiefs, applauded the preparations put in place to ensure the elections are successfully conducted.
The AIG told all personnel deployed for the elections to remain apolitical and maintain a high sense of professionalism in carrying out their responsibility
