The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of one Annie Ofili who allegedly stabbed her friend, Glory Okon to death with a knife following a disagreement between the two which led to a fight.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin who made this known said the incident occurred at about 5:50pm local time on Sunday at the suspect’s residence at Greenville Estate, Badore, Ajah in Lagos state.
Hundeyin said the Divisional Police Officer, Ajah Division had received a distress call from the landlord of the suspect who reported the incident to the police authority .

Hundeyin further noted that a team of detectives were immediately sent to the crime scene upon receipt of the information and the lady was subsequently arrested while the knife used for the attack was recovered as exhibit.
The police spokesperson in the state, said the corpse has since been evacuated and deposited at the Mainland general hospital for autopsy while the suspect will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti in Yaba for further investigations.
